Hi, I'm Shawnna

I’m a photographer as well as a cardiac sonographer. I live in the Lowcountry with my husband and daughters and lots of animals. Don’t get me started on my chickens or my Frenchies. My passion is storytelling through your pictures. 

  What can you expect from a session with me? Laughter. Lots of it. I like to laugh at myself. Definitely expect me to make a fool of myself at some point. This will not be a serious photoshoot by any means. Expect me to prompt you in the hopes of engaging you and interacting with your family to create real moments and memories. 

It sounds so cliche to say it but I really do love what I do. I love photographing families and seeing them come back each year. I love getting to know your children and being able to capture the true essence that makes them special. I love hanging out with my Seniors and talking about their hopes and dreams. I love getting grumpy dad, who we all know doesn’t want to be there, give me a genuine smile because of my ridiculous prompts and antics. Building a bond with my clients is something I don’t ever take for granted.
